About Me
As an independent consultant, I have worked with various education space clients since 2007. I consult with educational entities to improve teaching and learning through use of technology, research-based instructional strategies, and effective leadership of the change process for educators. Examples of consulting jobs include:
–As a member of Getting To Outcomes Research team, led by Dr. Abe Wandersman, evaluating a 1:1 implementation in a SC school district, I designed a classroom observation protocol and collected data while observing students and teachers implementing technology in classrooms. I analyzed the data and wrote regular reports, in collaboration with the research team, to interpret results and make recommendations to district leadership for formative and summative evaluations.
–Provides professional learning services to teachers and administrators across the Southeast for Achieve3000, a computer-based literacy program for K-12 students. (current)
–Developed and managed a state-wide Digital Pilot program studying the transition from traditional texts to digital texts and the impact on teaching and learning in schools.
–Developed and managed a statewide distance learning science education program via video conferencing.
–Collects and analyzes instructional process data in classrooms for the purpose of designing customized professional development services in schools.
–Provide professional development on how to effectively implement a computer based literacy program called Achieve300 to K-12 teachers nationwide.
